Dr. Brightman graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and received her M.D. degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she also completed her residency in OBGYN. Dr. Brightman currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is a member of The Menopause Center and the voluntary faculty at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Castle Connolly consistently lists Dr. Brightman as a Top Doctor in the New York Metro Area.
Dr. Brightman is frequently featured in the media as a women’s health expert. She has served on advisory boards for magazines and pharmaceutical companies and has had articles published in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Brightman is married to an ophthalmologist and has 2 young adult sons. She enjoys reading and traveling and her passions include family, friends, fitness, fashion, and her furry Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
Dr. Silverstein has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology in Manhattan for over 20 years. She feels privileged to be able to practice personalized medical care for women across the spectrum of their lives, from adolescence through menopause as well as guiding many through pregnancy. Dr. Silverstein values the importance of a trusted doctor-patient relationship and recognizes that each patient has unique needs. Her areas of interest include contraception, preconceptual care, family planning, pregnancy and the perimenopause.
Dr. Silverstein in married to a medical oncologist and lives in Manhattan with her husband and 2 children. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of Temple Shaaray Tefila and is also actively involved with Camp Blue Ridge.
Dr. Shur’s areas of interest include preconception planning and guidance, general and high risk obstetrics, adolescent gynecology, challenging contraception management, dysfunctional bleeding and urinary incontinence. She Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr Shur was completed her residency training at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is proud to be a Clinical Instructor in the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine and to be on the staff of Voluntary Attendings at Mount Sinai Hospital. (She was also born there!)
Dr Shur lives with her husband and two sons in New York City. She is passionate about skiing and enjoys hiking and biking. She loves to travel and has explored North, Central and South America; Europe and Africa.
